Women's Sports Net Launches as the "One Source for Women's Sports"

San Diego, CA
March 4, 2004 ?- Filling the current void of reporting in Women's Sports news WomensSportsNet.com launched March 1st as the "One Source for Women's Sports". WomensSportsNet.com has been created to increase the visibility of women and girls in sports at all levels of competition.
The online community offers up-to-the-minute news and original content for sports, fitness, diet, health and lifestyles.
WomensSportsNet.com is the reverse of a typical online sports community, devoting 80% of its coverage to women's sports and 20% to men's.
This site is a user-friendly single source for all sports news."Nationwide data indicates that women make up 38-42% of all sports and physical activity participants," states Cindy Pond, President of WomensSportsNet.com.

"The problem is that the research also indicates that women in sports only receive approximately 6-8% of the total sports coverage. This is simply wrong, so we have created a media outlet for people of both genders to get back in touch with women in sports.
We are hoping that this will correlate to an increase in coverage of women in sports."About Women's Sports NetWomensSportsNet.com launched March 1st, 2004 to increase the visibility of Women and Girl's in Sports. Are Kettlebells Too Expensive?

It's funny how people react to the price of a kettlebell. Their eyes usually get wide and their mouth opens a bit, as if to say "Are you kidding?"Their reaction is usually due to the fact that they just don't realize what a simple kettlebell can do for one's physical fitness, strength building and fat loss. I mean hey, it's just a simple little sphere with a handle, right? Where are the gears, the cables, the springs and pulleys that are a hallmark of a real piece of fitness equipment? Here's a secret: You don't need all that complicated (and really expensive!) stuff. The same folks who balk at paying $90 for a kettlebell would have no problem whatsoever dropping $300 or more on some "total gym" that uses rubber bands to give them a "full body workout" and maybe $100 a month in expensive (and unnecessary) dietary supplements. Don't forget those exercise machines that are advertised on TV during those two-minute long commercials... They're so expensive that they don't even mention the price,...
